2099: Race to Dystopia is an ambitious, multidisciplinary immersive arts experience set in a dystopian future, bringing together more than 60 Chicago creatives across film, fashion, visual art, spoken word, music and cosplay. Inspired by the futuristic world of hip hop artist 21H2, the project invites artists and audiences to explore identity, power, community and the choices that shape our collective future. Planned for spring 2027 at Chicago’s Hairpin Arts Center, the experience celebrates collaboration, imagination and the power of art to spark conversation and change.
