Family That Finds Us is a free community screening exploring the many bonds and profound themes of family. Through a lineup of family-friendly films from local creatives, this accessible program invites audiences to rediscover what family can mean, whether it is found in those we are related to, the communities we grow within, or the unexpected places where we find right where we belong.
Following the screening, a 45-minute Q&A with the filmmakers behind the films will open the conversation to the community, creating space to connect, reflect, and celebrate the stories being told in Chicago's own neighborhoods.
