​The 2026 CapCut x Pixquid® Creator Grant is an intensive, 8-hour hands-on accelerator designed to help filmmakers bring their ideas to life. Participants will focus on producing a 3-minute (or less) Proof of Concept (POC) or building out a key scene from an existing project. Throughout the day, creators will have access to CapCut’s suite of production and editing features, including AI tools, to streamline visual assembly and post-production.
Event Schedule & Highlights
​Friday, October 9, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM CDT
​CapCut Workflow Masterclass: A 2-hour guided deep dive into CapCut's advanced tools and AI-driven post-production workflows.
​Hands-on POC Creation Studio: Spend dedicated time editing your 3-minute POC or refining a scene, supported by 1:1 guidance from industry mentors.
​Project Completion & Work-in-Progress Showcase: Finish a small piece of content or project draft by the end of the workshop to share with fellow creators and mentors.
​Distribution & Funding Briefing: Learn how to leverage the Pixquid platform to distribute, monetize, and secure further funding for your finished projects.
​Hospitality & Community: Includes light breakfast, catered mentorship lunch, and a closing cocktail happy hour.
​Post-Workshop Submission & Prize Timeline
​Rather than picking a winner at the end of the workshop, participants will be given additional time after the event to refine, finalize, and submit their projects:

October 2, 2026: Selected Applicants Notified
​October 9, 2026 (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM CDT): Workshop Day & Project Creation
​October 23, 2026: Final Project Submission Deadline for the $3,000 Grant Prize Pool
​November 6, 2026: Winners Elected & Announced (3 winners awarded $1,000 each)
