The Oak Park, IL Film Festival is an annual celebration of cinema, bringing together filmmakers, audiences, and the Oak Park community to showcase films with an Oak Park connection—whether through content, cast, crew, or setting.

The Weekend Festival is Saturday, 9/19 and Sunday, 9/20 at Madison Street Theater, a local stage theater transformed into a cinema venue.
Audiences can enjoy a diverse selection of films from a variety of genres including documentaries, shorts, music videos and more (as submissions allow) and all with an Oak Park connection.

In addition to screenings, hear from the filmmakers themselves in post-screening Q&As, as well as industry professionals in a panel and special presentation from an animation producer. In between screenings, enjoy networking opportunities, live music, and lots of food. And don't miss the awards ceremony to recognize films, filmmakers, and actors across a variety of categories.
