Dear Casting Director / Talent Team,
My name is Dyvell Thompson, and I am a 19-year-old actor and model from Chicago currently seeking acting and modeling opportunities.
I’ve been performing since I was 4 years old, beginning with Off-Broadway Disney productions such as Aladdin, The Lion King, Mulan, and The Little Mermaid. Throughout those productions, I had the opportunity to play roles including Young Simba, Sebastian, Li Shang, and Aladdin. Those experiences helped build my passion for performing and storytelling at a very young age.
In high school, I performed in Carrie: The Musical as Billy Nolan, a supporting lead role. Our production was selected to perform at the Illinois Theatre Festival (ITF), which further strengthened my love for live performance, singing, and theater.
Outside of acting, I taught myself how to play piano and sing soul music, which has helped me grow as a performer and artist overall. I have a deep appreciation for film, music, and creative expression.
As of 2025, I transitioned into film acting and have since worked on projects including a film alongside Justice Smith and Michael Gilio, as well as an appearance on The Chi. I’ve also gained experience working on indie films, short films, and vertical shorts.
Acting and modeling are truly what I love to do, and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to audition and showcase what I can bring to your team and future projects.
